Non-Breakthrough related Miami post

This was me bored on the plane.

First week in Miami

So, after not being able to go to Hong Kong, my old boss is having me back in Miami! I came back during the beginning of the second week, but the kids have been really sweet! Here's what my job is like:


This is ASM- All School Meeting. The kids are presenting a skit.

At lunch, all the kids started Wu-tanging yesterday.

This game is called Bang. The kids always play it during recess. If someone points to you and says bang, you duck and the two people next to each other have to point and say "bang." If you say it second, you're out. The last one in wins.

Graduation and pictures

Before graduation, we went to Lou's for breakfast. It was SO GOOD.


So, at my sister's graduation it was raining. The whole time. You can see my mom and I wore some classy ponchos.

And then, they had SEGREGATED SEATING. You had to pay to sit! (my sister says you didn't but I think you had to because there were parents sitting there not just VIPs!) They had about three whole rows for families to sit, and we only sat because we got there at 8:00 and waited for 2 hours!


Look at that guy's face! In the khaki jacket. I totally didn't notice that until now. He looks a little stressed.

They had a big IMAX screen so you could see everything.


My sister is standing on the left side about to get her diploma. I need to order a professional one.

Then she got her diploma! Cum laude!

A new grad in the family!

Just got back from Lauren's Dartmouth graduation (cum laude! yes!). It was raining all during graduation and then as soon as it ended it got sunny! I have some pretty lame pictures I took (my photography skills are nonexistant).

Um...

So, I seriously did nothing today. Went to the store with my mom, and we sort of watched a movie. Oh, and we ate tacos.

But really, I like it. This is the happiest I've been in a long time. I'm really excited to travel for the first time in my life, but I am going to miss my mom a lot. Like, really, really, badly. So I will prepare for it I guess by really enjoying the next few days by doing nothing, but with my mom.

My Dog

We had to shave my dog because the ticks were so bad. Nothing was working! She is better now and is tic-free, but looks silly.

Why do I trust technology?

I bought not one, but TWO webcams, one for me and one for my mom.

The picture quality makes me look like I am a shadowy ghost of a llama.

Stupid.

Five Hour Nap

I took a 5 hour nap at 5 pm and I am finding it impossible to sleep. I am multi-tasking, watching The Motorcycle Diaries and on Facebook.
Lauren and I made babies on a website today.

For some reason they look nothing like us.
