伏見稲荷

先週に、友達と一緒に伏見稲荷に言った。伏見稲荷は、南京都でもっとも有名な神社の一つだ。私は、伏見に住んでいるから、伏見稲荷に行ってみたかった。伏見稲荷で、ゆきと言う新しい友達を作った。下の写真は私とゆきだ。

伏見稲荷は、千本とりがある。とてもきれい！伏見稲荷で、たくさんとりを見て、友達と話して、写真をとった！

伏見稲荷が大好きので、秋休みに行こうと思っている。

佳代の結婚式

十一月七日、ホースとーファミリーのお姉さんは結婚した。お姉さんの結婚式は、大阪のてこくホテルにあった。その結婚式のドレスは、お母さんは作った！とても上手だ！

佳代の結婚式は、美しくて、おとなしかった。でも、日本の結婚式に比べて、アメリカの結婚式は楽しいと思う。みんなは、結婚式ながら、ニコニコして、泣いていたから、とてもいい結婚式用だ。私もないた！

結婚式の後で、佳代は、東京にひっこした。佳代とホースとーファミリーはとてもうれしくになったから、私もうれしくになった！

二条城！金閣寺！

先週の金曜日に、友達と一緒に二条城に言った。二条城に行くつもりだたら、友達と一緒に行きたかった。先週の月曜日に、金閣寺に行った後で、にじょうじょうにいくつもりが、4：02についたから、二条城はあいていなかった。かなしかったが、金曜日に帰った。

二条城はとてもきれいだ！

それから、金閣寺に言った。先週、雨が降っていたから、行くにわけは行きなかったから、週末に行った。金閣寺はめっちゃめっちゃきれいだ！

金閣寺に言ったとき、おいしかった茶団子を食べて、美しい天気と金閣寺を見られた！

十月のまつり！

日本で、十月に、たくさん祭りがある。わたしは、伏見で祭りに行って、鞍馬の火祭りに行って、時代祭りに行た。

ホストファミリと友達と一緒に伏見の祭りに行った。祭りについて、分からないけど、楽しかった。祭りに、大きいみこしがあって、たくさんたべた！まつりの後で、家でパーテイをした。

それか、おなじひに、鞍馬火祭りと時代祭りに行った。鞍馬火祭りは、人がたくさんいったから、ぜん線見られなかった！

時代祭りは鞍馬火祭りより好き。鞍馬火祭りは楽しかった。それ対して、時代祭りはたくさん耀服を見られた、皆は嬉しかったから、もっと楽しかった打と思う。 鞍馬火祭りも時代祭りも楽しかった。

東京、よこはま、かまくら

先週、AKPの学生と一緒に東京、かまくら、とよこはまに行った。


先週の木曜日は、日本で颶風がありましたから、天気とても悪くて、先週は、毎日、雨をふっていた。それから、先週私は病気になりったので、大変だ。

東京の行く前に、かまくらとよこはまにいった。鎌倉に、とてもきれいな海があります。バスの中から、写真をとった。それから、鎌倉で大仏をみられた。大仏はとてもおおき買ったから、吃驚しました！鎌倉大仏は日本で対物はとして有名だ。かまくらと言えば、大仏と海です。鎌倉に行くなら、大仏を見るといいと思う。

東京のほうが京都より大きくて、とても楽しかったが、京都のほう好きだ。でも、東京で、たくさんにいい経験があった。東京ターワに行って、ひびや公園に行って、はらじゅくに行った。

一ヶ月前日本へ行った。
One month ago, I came to Japan.
私は今ふなき家にホームステイしている。　家は伏見駅から歩いて５分ところにある。ふなきの家は二階だての家で、私のへやの外で日本しき庭がある。
Currently, I am doing my homestay with the Funaki Family. The house I live in is five minutes from the Fushimi Train Station. It is a two story house, and outside my room there is a small Japanese-style garden.

ふなきの家は、両親と子供が二人いる。お父さんは、家の前に米屋を持っています。お母さんは、主婦だけど、家の上にじゅくを持っています。異種間位階にすう学を教えている。一番目の娘は、かよ。かよは、十一月に、結婚するつもりので、とても急がしいだ。先週、私はかよ二結納を見せてくれた。うしろの写真を見せて下さい！二番目の娘はなおこ。なおこはバーレが大好き。先月、なおこのバーレのコンサートへ行った。

The Funaki family is made up of two parents and two children. The father owns a rice shop in front of the house, and although the mother is a housewife, she teachers math two times a week at the cram school above the house. The first daughter, Kayo, showed me her pre-wedding ceremony, her yuinou. Look at the picture of this below! The second daughter, Naoko, really loves ballet.　Last month, I went to her ballet recital.

私のホームステイはとても楽しい！ふなきは、やさしくて、おしゃべりの性格がある。毎日、色々とをしゃべって、じょうどん言って、ふなき家と知り合うが、その反面、私の家族に会いたいから、寂しがりやになっている。

My homestay is really fun! The Funakis are very nice and talkative. Every day, we talk about different things, joke around, and I get to know them, but the only bad thing is that is miss my family and I am becoming a little lonely!

I know I haven't updated in forever! Since I got home from Miami in the beginning of the month, I have been trying to relax and actually have not unpacked or uploaded any pictures yet...

We went to Chicken Kitchen

Career Day

We went do different business all around Miami! The kids were so cute and had such a good time! We went to the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis and saw a ten year old boy learning to walk again. Here are the kids all dressed up:

First week in Miami

So, after not being able to go to Hong Kong, my old boss is having me back in Miami! I came back during the beginning of the second week, but the kids have been really sweet! Here's what my job is like:

This game is called Bang. The kids always play it during recess. If someone points to you and says bang, you duck and the two people next to each other have to point and say "bang." If you say it second, you're out. The last one in wins.
